But I am literally always down to talk about any & all oc’s I’ve ever posted on here, ESPECIALLY my dnd oc’s! Yernad has such a special place in my heart, he’s probably my favorite oc based on overall lore & planned character arc & his design was intentionally made to be badass. He’s got the personality of crocodile dundee hidden under a lot of malice & trauma. He’s got a pretty big soft spot but he doesn’t tend to show it very often & leans into the scary asshole persona people have placed on him based on his looks & rumors spread during the war. (Not sure what all posts you’ve seen about him, but he was a general when his country was invaded & he did some… pretty unsavory things on the battlefield. Let’s just say he liked to kill people in very gruesome, bloody ways🙂)

I still haven’t started my campaign, but now that I’m done, like actually done with school I can hopefully dm my first campaign! I’ve had to set my plot planning on the back burner during the semester but I am so ready to dive back in & make a great story for some friends!

My ultimate goal for the campaign is that Tiamat is the ultimate big bad who’s been working behind the scenes & invaded the cult of another character (Eldritch). But because Yernad has died & been resurrected he made a deal with Bahamut & promised to be his “champion” when the time came to lead an army against the undead. But he has no recollection of this deal but now has a psychic connection with Bahamut, so he knows something is up. After he meets the party, things start to kick into high gear because that’s when big things get revealed to the players. But after the party defeats her, Yernad is going to essentially become a demigod

He’s best friends with my first oc Naomi & essentially raised her before his death. They are going to reunite in the campaign & it’s one of the scenes I’ve played in my mind over & over. I really wanted to balance out angst with classic goofy shenanigans (& find any excuse to wedge tickles into any situation) so the party ends up fighting a tickle monster & the big thing here is that before the encounter they didn’t really know what they’re up against. But the fight goes on for a short while before Yernad fucking whistles from the bush to get the monster’s attention & catch her. Oh & did I mention she has babies? & he traps them in a box! But he just swoops in like this suave badass & saves the day like “thanks for tiring her out” but Naomi is just frozen in shock because wtf HE’S ALIVE?? & when he notices her they crash into each other in a bone crushing hug & they’re both crying & talking over each other until Naomi realizes she’s been mourning him for the better part of 30 years & he’s been alive all this time & never tried to come see her or tell her he’s ok. Lies, he astral projected to her to tell her he’s alive but she thought she was going crazy/seeing his ghost & didn’t believe him. But it turns into a big argument that turns to more crying & they’re just so relieved to have found each other again.

Mod: this is a bit of a big topic for a doll blog, and to be clear I sympathize with all those who are affected, and all those who do not want this to be happening. We do have readers and hobbyists and artists from all over the world in the hobby, and everyone is affected indirectly or directly by this so I think this is OK to discuss here since we will all have seen how this affected people within the community.

This anon is directing the post towards a user, I think assuming they are from the US, I opened the comments to one of the supportive confessions when this news first broke awhile back, and the user they are directing this towards is in fact Ukrainian, living in Ukraine.

My policy on this blog is if your country is currently being invaded, I don't expect you to have thoughtful and reasoned views about your invaders and you're free to vent whatever you want in the comments. Obviously those of us who are not in current danger can be rational and considerate, but I don't think it's fair to expect, in this example a Ukranian person to be sympathetic to soldiers who are commiting war crimes, the ordinary citizens are not the people they're dealing with and the comments will come from that perspective, versus those of us in Western countries who have the emotional bandwidth to consider all those who are affected. Citizens don't choose what their government do and shouldn't be blamed for their actions, as this anon points out, but in the case of being currently under attack that will not be at the forefront of your mind.

I also agree with this anon that we are already seeing a bias emerging due to all this, and this is unfair to innocent citizens, however please consider the readers here are from all over the world and not just the US and that will make a difference to their perspectives on events.

I'm a russian in the USA and the shit theyre spouting is literally 1:1 to what I heard from the "russians are bad!" kind of people. The kind that throw things at you, bully you, say hurtful things, once they find out you're russian in the USA. Russians ARE hurt by the government in this. They always have been. Even when Stalin was alive, he single-handedly has the world's largest kill-count he's responsible for, and majority of those he killed, were his own people. Only 10 years ago Putin let Russian's  several mafia groups essentially run the city. It was normal to have "fees" youd pay at bus stops and trains to the mafia so they wouldn't mug you. And now, I still have family in Russia and if you compared it to the social climate from 10-20 years ago nothing changed. 

I find it disgusting that you weaponize Putin as word for majority of the Russian people when majority do not share his views. Hell, before I lost contact with my uncle in Russia his neighbor got jailed- because another neighbor ratted him out that he shared "Anti-Government Sentiment". And yes, there are people who actually support Putin, but there are also many that are pressured to say they support them in order not to literally go under investigation or jailed- and the government needs literally NO proof to jail you over there. 

Ukraine is facing terrible things because of Putin, and so are the Russian people. Putin does not care about his people, and his sentiment is similar to Stalin's, where during the war Stalin allowed his soldiers to ransack russian civilian's homes for food, and allowed many r*pes, injuries, and murders to happen from his soldiers without repercussions. Even worse in other countries that were under the rule of Russia- like the area that is now the Republic of Moldova, which the Russian government forced most of the villages and towns to go into a FAMINE in order supply food to their soldiers. Places like Moldova had literal pits in their towns to throw dead bodies because so many people died of starvation and disease because of this and they didnt have enough time and strength to make graves. And this was only ~50 years ago. Russia is a communist country though, so many people knew of these things, but the government covered majority of it up to the outside and newer generations. Russia lost the war, but it won against it's people and the surrounding area. 

Russians and more have literally suffered from Putin and past dictators more than you imagine. and you villainizing Russians for literally existing is disgusting. More disgusting that you're speaking this from a place of ignorance and refuse to understand the situation. I pray for Ukraine and all the other eastern European countries, but I also pray for Russians in Russia at the moment. I hope people stay educated because the "anti-russia" sentiment is spreading, and in the USA at least it's becoming, "anti-russians" instead. So now we have old men who hate russians because of ww2 hating us, and now we have the youth in the USA also hating us falsely.

Why are you opposed to Zionism though? Isn't that just a movement for a Jewish homeland? Israel is wrong for bombing schools and kids, but how can you spread lies like calling Israelis colonialists, when they were literally refugees at the end of WW2 returning to the land after having been subjected to violence and expulsions everywhere else, including in Israel- Palestine region by the Arabs even in early 20th century. Also, why aren't other middle eastern countries accepting and naturalizing Palestinian refugees who have been there for half a century or more? Ive been slowly reading the Splinter Cell books and im almost finished the third one and I have complaints

Spoiler warning I guess for books that are over 10 years old if anyone cares about them.

So the first book was great. They got one of the bond writers to do it and it was so good. Splinter Cells identities have been leaked and Sam Fishers life is at stake throughout the whole thing because for the first time ever, the enemy know who he is. His chapters are in first person which makes everything feel so much more personal. All the other chapters following other characters are in third which gives this nice cutscene kind of feeling that games have when they show something your character wouldnt know. Its a book series based on a game, it just felt right. Sam's daughter gets kidnapped because The Shop (big bad weappns company) wants to stop Third Echelon from getting in the way of their sales and Sam is the one who is trying to stop them and stop them from doing deals with The Shadows which are trying to get the US out of the middle east so their country can take over another. Fisher ends up disrupting these deals and saves his daughter. But like, how it goes is so well. Sams daughter gets invited overseas with her friend and they both ger drugged and kidnapped by someone they thought was their friend! The stakes are high af because they killed off the friend and are going to kill Sams daughter and him if he cant stop all this stuff from happening. And theres the whole war nuclear weapon deals going on that he also has to stop. So good.

Anna Grimsdotir isnt present in this book because they need wiggle room for the next book and shes replaced with Carly who is also an analyst. Theres this nice tight nit friendship between Sams team at Third Echelon with Lambert, Carly, Sam, and and Mike that sets things up for the next book. Also Sams Grav Maga teacher, they flirt a bit, nice side story which leads into the next book. Pretty much everything leads into the next book because even though Sam defeated The Shadows, The Shop is still a major weapons dealer and have the identities of other Splinter Cells and needs to be stopped.

So next book, Operation Barracuda. Sam and his team need to find out who leaked the Splinter Cells information and stop The Shop. Uh oh! It was Mike and he had to kill Carly IN THE THIRD ECHELON OFFICE because she was about to figure out it was him and he escapes and the Triad offer to get him out of the country, he just has to get to the right place and theyll fly him out. Good setup for these cat and mouse chapters where and FBI agent is trying to keep up with Mike. Also Mike was actually planted in Third Echelon years ago and he and his brother have deals with the Triad to sell stuff which The Shop does t like because theure supposed to sell things to them and then they sell to the Triad.

All of these bad guys have one goal though. Theyre dealing with a rogue chinese general that wants to invade Hong Kong. So theres all this infighting and build up to when people, even the bad guys, start to figure more stuff about the other groups. The Triad, being in Hong Kong, dont want to be invaded, but the deals theyve done with bad guy general have provided him with a nuckear submarine that he threatens to detonate on the US coast unless they withdraw from Taiwan.

During all of this that krav maga teacher and Sam have had a few dates and are at Sams place. But when they are walking down the street she is gunned down and Sam is forced to leave her dead body on the street with people around because he cant risk being having anyone looking into who he is, even local police and government because he is in a secret agency. Amazing side story. It's a lot like the side stuff with his daughter in the first book, it gives him more motive outside of it just being a job, these people have killed 2 of his friends, one of which he was really into.

Back to bad guy stuff. FBI guy gets killed by Mikes brother after he goes into a shady place to arrest him. The triad are already there and hes just dead now. But he did arrest Mike so they got info from him which leads same to the Triad. In a pretty cool turn of events the general invades but theres no one to stop him! Oh wait! The Triad takes arms and fights off his army and its rad. Sam had gone into that shady building (just remembered its a night club) and gave them information about the generals attack and then left. It was a different chapter because he wasnt being stealthy, he just walked in and demanded to speak to people and it worked. When all this general vs Triad stuff is happening, Sam is dealing with The Shop. The general is defeated, the leak for the Splinter Cell information is in custody, and The Shop is finally shut down!

Next book... set before the first and has a new writer. All of it is in third person and it doesnt feel like the first for obvious reasons. Theres a handful of spelling errors spread throughout which really take you out of it because now youre thinking about this spelling error.

Starts with Sam having to sneak onto a ship thats going to crash onto the US coast and its packed with radioactive material or bombs? It wasnt clear to me. But he stops it and gets out. Its a pretty one track story whereas the other two books had a handful of stuff going on and it all worked neatly. Third Echelon need to know where the nuclear stuff came from to know who did it. He sneaks back on the ship which is under quarantine and takes a sample or something? There was something about having to get engine manufactuing codes to find out where the ship had done repairs and see where it came from but that branching plot just ends later in the book when Lambert says that his analysts found out where it was from. Sam need to find out where nuclear stuff came from. For reasons i cant remember because nothing in this book is worth remembering half the time, Sam has to go to Chernobyl to collect radiated material to see if they match. Thats not the unmemorable part, how they decided to go there to find it specifically is. Anyway, its a match and they figure out who did it and why by knowing who made the ship and how they got the nuclear material. The whole Chernobyl bit could have been better. It didnt feel like anything was at stake. And there was this awkward side story with a woman who helped him get into the dangerous areas unnoticed where theyd flirt and nothing would come of it and then theres nothing else about her ever again.

Then theres all this stuff of Sam infiltrating other places which leads him to another place which leads him to another place. Its very linear and theres a few chapters where he sneaks into a private island thats impossible to sneak onto but he does and it doesnt feel like anything is at stake. The whole book is about having to find out who did this one almost bombing and poisoned a whole towns water supply with radiated material, making it a wasteland, before the US declares war on the wrong nation for ot. But every time they get more information, they suddenly have more time and need to hurry, but then they do that and get more time but need to hurry! At one point they mention the president will declare war in 24 hours and im pretty sure its been like 4 days since then and nothing.

Also! Theres this terrible character cliche guy i hate. There's like 5 chapters spread out through the book where its this weird guy who is clearly the villain ( not bad guy or terrorist, hes just a bad villain) that talks all fancy and as if hes got this grand plan happening and keeps talking about chess and imagining chess moves after he gets new information. Its annoying and i hate him. Get a new character. It doesnt even have to be him, use one of the heads of the bad guy groups that are already established, god. I've got 6 chapters to go and Sam doesnt even know about that chess bad guy yet.

Tbh im considering skipping the next book because its the same writer and the Conviction books and Blacklist book are written by other people. It hasnt been release who i dont think though. Its all a pseudonym.

So i just finished Splinter Cell Checkmate. Its 2 days after i wrote that whole thing and it gets way better in the last 5 chapters. It was much more fast paced and actiony. The rest of the book was slow and not that interesting. There was a bit that brought back a character from earlier who was shot in the head but the bullet hit ar a weird angle and he was left to die. Sam found him and theres this nice calm part of the chapter of Sam trying to get him out without making his wound worse but he wasnt fast enough and he dies. Then Sam finally gets the location of the annoying chess bad guy with some information from now dead guy. It literally ended with Sam saying "...checkmate " to him which fealt really forced... they never met until now and Sam onlt mentioned chess once in the whole book besides that. I think he played it with a friend for a paragraph while they chatted. Epilogue was ok too. The woman who helped him into Chernobyl was in a wax museume and Sam rocks up with a passport for her to get out and fly back to the US with him. Was weird. They flirted maybe twice halfway through the book and then he rocks up with that. She didnt even know his name until the epilogue because he used an alias.

Anyway, first two books are great, third was super slow but ended ok.

A usual, swarms of abos are on the streets, including young and school-aged abos WHO NEVER EVER go to any school despite a school being just across the road less than a minute walk away and visible in sight of them all, all day. NO, instead they roam all the streets, invade peoples yards and properties, and are criminal.

Literally swarms of them came out of the rented picket fenced house with the huge hole smashed in it's boundary fence by abo's. It included newer converts to being criminal and wanna-be abo's who are not abo.

They, the majority, all swarmed out through the hole in the fence and all filed into the abo criminal household two houses away from there.

Just one of then split away on pushbike and rode away, but of course he will shortly return.

There has been abos walking all over the streets.

Forget about anything you have ever heard about pupil 'free days' at any school......for these criminals EVERYDAY it's a school free zone where none of them ever goes to school, even though there's one across the road. They just hang around with older thugs and criminals and the mini-criminals soon too become thugs and criminals....you know the EXACT same shit I forecasted was happening and evolving and getting worse well over a year ago.

What new bullshit will come about I wonder........a school renamed to 'honour' the abo criminal in Kalgoorlie who stole a motorbike and got himself run over and killed?

Well they infested Midland, Guildford, and any and all the places they could, including the area and streets all around this hellhole.

ALL this happened AFTER dear innocent Fliss came here to live with me in a new life. Ahe saw a LOT of this going on. And she and I experienced the fallout from a lot of it. ALL THAT I HAVE BEEN BLAMED FOR!

Go outside this hellhole area and there will all 'seem' and 'look' fine and okay, but all those places are hunting grounds upon innocents for the abo criminals and their fellow criminals aboriginal or white.

Aircraft noise and increased air traffic from low flying aircraft from Perth Airport has become intolerable again. -- They LOVE to encourage any international flights and travel companies to foreign near-countries so that inane 'holidays' for well-to-do jetsetter holidayers who try to convince themselves they are affluent and are just as good as all the feckless unthinking exploitative rich people.

Aircraft noise is around 2 big loud jets per minute non stop that goes on for hours, has a short break, continues again, has more breaks, the continues all day until later in the day all the damned reverse of it all occurs and the damend jets all noisily idle-in like foetid stinking diesel trucks idling just outside your open bedorom window with the noise and stench into your house and bedroom. -- Again, all the shit you never hear about or is told in any media.

And all this is just SOME of the hell that I am in, and so is dear Sam and dear Max.

At the moment as I type this, they're crying and deperately want to lay down and go back to bed. And so I will try to to. Whilst now all the damned NOISY and stinking road vehicles start up and take their turn upon the roads making noise and spewing out fumes.

Here's a prediction/forecast......Holden Australia (a General Motors (USA) vehicle company offshoot), they will be closing down in Australia for good soon. All the unemployed workers will be tossed out on their ears. But I imagine all the vehicle stocks will then be sold off in 'special deals' to hapless Australian public but also to the aresholes and shithads who tear around in vehicles and make life a misery for all. - THEY will swoon to own Holden vehicles, as big and noisy and powerful as they can, and they will tear about all over the Australian roads. - Wait and see how all THAT plays out for road safety for all innocents.

And of course the feral criminal aboriginals and asociated crimials who's cars of choice used to be high-powered Ford vehicles, but who then switched to Holden's.....they will of course be buying up (or stealing) plenty of Holden vehicles.

Holden will 'end' on a celebratory bang, and everyone will convince themselves that maybe the Australian company could be 'saved' by all of this. But it won't be. It'll all be too little, too late.

It WON'T stop the criminal car thieving by criminal aboriginals and criminals, it'll just become lesser news, or perhaps it will morph into becoming other news, especially if any politicians get involved or are victims.

That's what goes on in West Australia and in Australia.

Meanwhile the streets and houses are filling up with criminal aboriginals, and other associated criminals, and nothing is ever EVER getting better in this hellhole.

To 'appear' as if one criminal household was 'moving out', all they did was to crowd into other houses right next door and across the road. And ALL day and night, they just travel from on house to the other and ALSO back to the 'moved out' houses. (effectively covertly re-filling it up again.) - These are all the lies they peddle upon authorities, the authorities who then lie to innocents that all the 'troubles' are being 'solved'......

And of course the school-aged criminals NEVER EVER GO TO SCHOOL. Instead they roam about the streets and watch them, and cause and perform crime. - They're growing up to be just like all their relations, all their family, and all of them are criminal. And that includes the toddlers in diapers who scream so VERY VERY loudly as they wander about by themselves on the roads and footpaths. They do NOT cry for despair, all they yell and loudly cry for is to be rewarded with something to shut them up. A habit they take and use ALL their life, just as everyone they live with does.

NOBODY has (or wants to admit) how bad all this is.

I was forbidden sleep by criminal roaming abo's in the streets yelling out to each other, and before that they were roaming the streets leading up to darkness. -- I LOVE YOU FLISS AND WANT TO BE WITH YOU. And my internet is shit once again....just as it has been on and off for YEARS now. And THAT occured and started just at the time when in 2015 when dear Fliss was having her terrible medical and mental episodes and we were thrust into HELL. The stuff with the criminal abo's is in ADDITION to all of that. - The terrible situation (with the internet connectivity & speed of NO connectiviy andor NO speed) even amongst others has even made the local news.
